    PAGLIARTE is an association with currently five active members. Francesca Mancini,
Lara Blumer, Mariapia Gamboni, Nora Gamboni, Stefania Garbani-Marcantini.

The aim of this Association is to continue the tradition of straw weaving in the
Onsernone Valley.


    
         
         
    Atelier    
         
   

It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from Locarno to our Atelier: first head
towards the Maggia valley, then at Ponte Brolla turn left into the Centovalli;
at the end of the small village Cavigliano, take a sharp right turn up into
the Onsernone Valley.

Berzona is the third village in the Valley. Just take a right turn up which leads into
the picturesque old part of Berzona where you will find our atelier on the piazza
inside the Municipio (town house).

Iris Pfister, the known painter provides us with her original paintings which
then are combined with our straw bags and purses. The results are unique
